Systeme.io pricing: is it a cheap newsletter tool?

Systeme.io is an all-in-one tool (funnels, courses, email, a blog) rather than a newsletter platform. Its plans are priced by contacts, and its pricing page says email sends are unlimited on every plan and that it charges no transaction fees. Checked on Systeme.io's pricing page.

Compared with newsletter-first platforms

For a plain newsletter, the free tiers are the fairest comparison. Systeme.io's free plan holds fewer contacts than Kit's and a little fewer than beehiiv's, and it allows a single email campaign, so it suits a small list or a list that sits next to a course or funnel.

PlatformFree plan limitBuilt for
Systeme.io2,000 contactsFunnels, courses and email in one tool
Kit10,000 subscribersNewsletters and creator email
beehiiv2,500 subscribersNewsletters with growth and ad tools

Kit and beehiiv limits come from our Kit and beehiiv pricing pages. Contacts and subscribers are not counted identically on every platform.

When it makes sense, on the facts

In Systeme.io's favour

  • No platform transaction fee on sales.
  • Courses, funnels and a blog are included, so one tool can replace several.
  • Unlimited email sends on every plan.

Limits to know

  • The Free plan stops at 2,000 contacts and one email campaign.
  • It is not built around newsletters, so it lacks newsletter-specific extras such as beehiiv's ad network or Substack's publication app.

We have not used Systeme.io as a publisher; this page covers price and published limits only. Deliverability and editor quality are not assessed. See the methodology.
